For the past two years I have volunteered with Women of Cincy, photographing the long form Q&A interviews and covering events. Below are some of my favorites! Be sure to check out their site.
Essen Indigogo Launch Party
Aspiring plant-based takeout kitchen concept ESSEN hosted a soft launch event promoting their upcoming Indiegogo campaign. Founders Patricia Bittner and Lida Bilokur, along with head chef Yasel López and 80+ attendees, enjoyed conversations with Matty Colston (sommelier and natural wine expert), Jessica Hemmer (fashion and product designer, owner of Hemmer Design), and Cody Gunningham (fine artist and designer). Everyone knows the best spot at a party is the kitchen, so we gathered around NOLI Modern Italian Kitchens’ three showrooms to chat about art, food, wine, and the delicious intersection of all three.

Stories + Fun with Women of Cincy
I had the opportunity to plan one of Women of Cincy's first public events while acting as Events Director in 2017. On Friday, November 17, locals climbed to the second floor of People’s Liberty for Stories + Fun with Women of Cincy to share stuffed grape leaves, hummus, wine, and good company. Alex Larrison of Larrison Photography captured 28 videos as attendees shared stories about the influential women in their lives. Women of Cincy will release “Because of Her,” a series of these uplifting videos, in December. Attendees also shared watercolors and stamps as part of an interactive art project in which each completed the sentence, “A woman is…”, creating pieces that were just as unique and beautiful as their creators! Women of Cincy at Play Library
On October 20th, Play Library graciously hosted Women of Cincy for a night of games, pizza, laughs, '90s snacks, and camaraderie. We were enthralled by the sheer number of game options, as well as the wall drawings, gadgets, and gizmos just asking to be tinkered with. We caught up with old friends and made new ones over some exciting (albeit a little competitive) games of Apples To Apples, the Jewish Edition; Pass the Pigs; and more.
