The Summer Fuel program at Kroger (and other Kroger Co. owned stores) is a yearly promotion where customers can earn 2X fuel points on most purchases on the weekends over the summer. My creative team was challenged with creating bright, bold promotional in-store signage to clearly communicate the message and create excitement. As the lead designer, I developed 2 concepts that were a contemporary spin on the previous year’s creative in order to build on the customer recognition and break through the grocery store clutter. The successful in-store campaign was accompanied by robust digital marketing, email, and broadcast campaigns that were developed by our marketing partners and followed the in-store look/tone/feel.
